When we finish your park, we are not walking away – it is the beginning of our shared responsibility to keep the users of the park safe. Safety is paramount in all of the decisions we make, because we know we are in this together with our clients. If skateparks gain a reputation of being unsafe environments, they will cease to exist.
Since being founded in 1992, Spohn Ranch has been the recognized leader in skatepark safety. Our unparalleled knowledge of skateparks gave us the opportunity to participate in creating the skatepark safety guidelines that were adopted by ASTM.
After 18+ years of building skateparks for televised skateboarding competitions and top professional athletes, we have developed an in-depth understanding of how to make a skatepark environment as safe as possible. When building municipal skateparks, we continue to adhere to the stringent safety standards we follow while building skatepark equipment for major corporations such as ESPN, Red Bull, Gatorade and MTV Sports.
All of our fabricators and installers are OSHA certified and trained in ASTM compliance. When they finish installing your skatepark, a thorough inspection process will begin to ensure that your skatepark meets all necessary safety guidelines and is capable of withstanding abuse from skateboards and BMX bikes.
